This bowl has been hand turned from Australian Spotted Gum. This piece was sourced from around the northern beaches area in Sydney. The photos don’t do the piece justice in showing the grain complexity especially around the knot inclusion and figuring that is shown throughout. The design of this bowl is simple allowing the grain to be the focus.
