This bowl has been hand turned from Australian Coolabah burl. The natural rough, undulating edge has been incorporated to give the piece a more other-worldly appearance but also showcases just how interesting the timber is. This piece was sourced from a supplier who is based in central west NSW who specialises in ethically harvesting the burls from the local trees in the area. The design of this bowl is simple allowing the grain to be the focus.
