This platter has been hand turned from Australian Red Mallee Burl. This piece was sourced from a supplier who is based in central west NSW who specialises in ethically harvesting the burls from the local trees in the area. The photos don’t do the piece justice as to the sheer size and grain complexity that the piece holds, it can only really be appreciated when placed in the right setting whether that be on the kitchen countertop or dining area.
